Withdrawal policy

Right of withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within 30 days without giving any reason.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or self-employed profession (Section 13 of the German Civil Code, BGB).

Withdrawal period

The withdrawal period is 30 days from the day

  • on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods,

  • or, in the case of a single order of several goods delivered separately, from the day on which you took possession of the last item.

Exercising the right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. by letter or email).

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we received notice of your withdrawal.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no event will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

Return of the goods

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

We will bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods (Section 357(7) BGB).

Special note on mattresses (hygiene & sleep trial)

Mattresses may be lain on and tested within the withdrawal period, comparable to trying them out in a specialist bricks-and-mortar store.

Please only use the mattress with suitable protection (e.g. a fitted sheet or mattress protector).

In the event of heavy soiling, damage or a condition that is no longer hygienically acceptable, we reserve the right to claim appropriate compensation for loss of value.

The right of withdrawal is expressly not excluded under Section 312g(2) no. 3 BGB (sealed goods for hygiene reasons), as we allow a sleep trial.
